Belated White Day

Way way way back on Valentine's Day, 2 months ago, Saber gave me this giri choco... Ah well, it's actually a drawing of Saber giving me giri choco, an obligatory chocolate that's given to men, but not meant to be out of love ^^; Errr... Anyway, I'm sure some of you know that already, but what you didn't know is that this Saber was drawn and given to me by Yakuri 2 months ago ^_^ Hehe I was very surprised specially since she was swearing as she tried to upload this picture to send it to me, lol.

Melancholy of Saber Lily: Side B(L)

Gokige... Oh wait, can I say this under this circumstances, can I? ^^; Ummm... yes, I'm doing a different type of 4koma comic this week than what my regular readers are used to, as you can gather from the image above (from Gelbooru).

Let's see... how did this happen again? Oh yea, a conversation started in one of Danny Choo's loot posts about male figures and how someone should make a yaoi type figma comics... And I suddenly came up with two ideas right away! My mind is twisted apparently, oh but you knew that already.

This will be an intermission of my current collaboration project with Wolfheinrich, so rest assured that will continue later on. These following 4koma comics are inspired by and dedicated to my good friend Yakuri. She's got an advance screening of this, but I added a little thing at the bottom of it afterwards :P

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 18

As you can see this is another Endless Eight parody. The dialogues are directly from the anime or at least from the fansubs that I copied this from. Well except for the last panel, but you get the idea. I chose the number 7401 because it sorta looks like the equivalent to "YAOI" ^^;

Oh so that's where Saber Lily's been hanging around at. Oooh and I guess this is the first appearance of Nagato Yuki on these panels! The scene is of course reminiscent of the 5th part of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya where Koizumi takes Kyon into the enclosed space. In this one Koizumi seems to have enclosed upon Kyon! GYAAAAH!! Also another Endless Eight reference in the last panel. Did you catch it? :)

Yuri Mania 20: Unlimited Lily Panel Works

Gokigenyou minna! Looks like I've been neglecting this yuri post for a while... I'd like to review Kanamemo again which I was planning to have 2 episodes in one post, but I couldn't find episode 8 yet. So for now you'll have to do with my collaboration with Wolfheinrich's Dollfie Dream Theatre.

And if you're new to Yuri Mania, "yuri" is Japanese for "lily", which is why you'll see a ton of lilies here ^^;

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 16

The above is a reference to the Endless Eight "arc" in the latest Haruhi Suzumiya anime, with a very different result. Now the question is... will I pull a KyoAni with these comics? XD If you don't know what I'm talking about then check out the multiple rage stories on Sankaku Complex. It's basically a repetition of the same episode over and over with a slightly different scenes and outfits, except for the first and last part, 8 parts in all. I am raging over this as well, but I did like the final episode where they finally end the damn thing. Lots of good comedy are coming out of this though; Snark's Nagato Yuki 4koma for example ^^

Looks like somebody was busy stealing my Lily panel when I was away playing Batman: Arkham Asylum. So...

I am the leaf of my flower.
Stem is my body, and herb is my blood.
I have created over a thousand pollens.
Unknown to winter.
Nor known to snow.
Have withstood critics to create many censors.
Yet, those hands will never hold those bosoms.

Yep, I did the KyoAni thing :P That ending sure hits the spot doesn't it? I dunno why, but the last panel just cracked me up to no end even before I made it XD ENJOY!

Gokigenyou minna-san! This week's yuri mania is a continuation of my Saber Lily versus Chouyusha Haruhi series, parts 5 and 6. I'd like to post a yuri anime review, but I got a tad busy this week to post lots of screenshots.

Unfortunately the jokes didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped... It looked funny in my mind, but putting it together I felt like I was struggling to find good lines and jokes that fits. Judge for yourself.



I broke my Kyon figma last time, but I replaced his arm with Koizumi's. Can anyone else guess what other part of Koizumi I used? Ok this one is kinda a stolen joke from Haruhi Suzumiya, but I changed the ending a little bit. ^^


Guest starring: Revoltech Fraulein Rin. I actually like this version of Rin than the figma version. People complained about the face, but I love her face. It looks a bit cuter than the figma one. It's also the return of the Lily panel lol. Again I didn't think this joke worked as well, especially since it's a reference to the Fate/stay night adult computer game, not the anime. This was also a last minute addition. I was just scouring my room for figures I can use and saw Rin and I thought I'd use it.

I feel like doing the "orz" pose for doing these 2 strips. They have "fail" written all over them. But fear not, the next few scripts are better! Til next time... Gokigenyou!

Saber Lily VS Chouyusha Haruhi

I used this picture for the Figma contest they had from GoodSmile Company, but I never reached the final 50. A lot of people put more efforts into their shots ^^;

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Parts 1 & 2

Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourself for a rumble unlike any other! The battle of the Special Edition Figmas that's just been waiting to be made!!

So after more than a month's wait my plans finally came to fruition. I wanted to make this scene so long ago ever since the idea popped in my head when Saber Lily and Fate/Unlimited Codes arrived on my doorstep.

Saber Lily Figma is the first Figma I've ever opened, followed by Chouyusha Haruhi. It's also nice to compare the first ever special edition Figma along with the latest one. I didn't notice much difference except for the hook for Saber Lily that attaches to the stand and goes around her waist instead of the peg penetrating her backside... uh bad choice of words? Haruhi lacked the accessorries compared to Saber Lily, but that's fine since I may just lose some of those small parts anyway heheh ^^;

I was extra careful when I moved Saber Lily and Haruhi around since they were very expensive and precious. I couldn't say the same for the third Figma I've opened. I opened Kyon for the 4-panel comic I made, but I was being too forceful to bend his arms that I snapped it... The picture you'll see later is his left arm barely hanging on to the piece... Yare yare... Anyone got a Kyon (or Koizumi) Figma they're giving away or selling for cheap??

So I set up these scenes at the stairs in the house with a blanket for a background, which suppose to look like a forest scene ^^; It was fun posing them for the scenes, but sure was a hassle. I hope you enjoy the final product.
