Birthday of Ayanami 2016

Happy birthday Ayanami Rei! It's almost past March 30th, but It has been a very busy day for me. Also barely using this blog ^^; I have to keep this tradition with Rei at least.

Today is also my car's birthday. I got my new dark blue Lancer on the same day as Rei's birthday. Very nice day indeed. Thank you to my brother who gave me this mini Lancer!

MEIKO's 11th Birthday!

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY MEIKO! Always remember that the fifth of November is MEIKO's birthday! This year since it's her 11th birthday, people have been posting MEIKO with Pocky. Sadly I've been having an eye problem and made me planned this improperly. I couldn't find Pocky, so Glico's other product, Pejoy will have to suffice!

A little late, but to celebrate Mikoto's birthday on May 2nd, I took some photos of the Taito prize figure I received from a friend as a Christmas gift.

Itou Kanako Concert at Sakura-Con 2015

Itou Kanako opened the show for GARNiDELiA with Hacking to the Gate from Steins;Gate in Seattle for Sakura-Con. The crowd was instantly pumped!

Itou is famous for singing a lot of the Nitro+ theme songs, from the visual novel to the anime. I first heard her beautiful voice singing F.D.D. for the anime Chaos;Head.

Sakura-Con 2015 Cosplay

Sakura-Con is always a good convention for creative and amazing cosplay! A great place to take photos of great cosplay. Though perhaps it's better if the photographer isn't so busy being in lines or isn't too shy either ^^; I took my share of cosplay, but as I've mentioned it was quite busy that I didn't take as much as I'd like to. Here is just a sample of what was seen at this year's Sakura-Con.

GARNiDELiA at Sakura-Con 2015

When MARiA and toku combine forces they become the super group GARDiNELiA! It was an honour to have the opportunity to hear their stories, met them in person, and listen to them live in concert! Like most fans, I first heard GARNiDELiA when they sang the second opening of KILL la KILL, ambiguous. I immediately fell in love and bought their first album, Linkage Ring. At that time, when I ordered the album, Sakura-Con haven't announced their major guests yet; so, of course, GARNiDELiA was to be one of their first Japanese guests of honor!

Birthday of Ayanami 2015

It is March 30th once again, which means it's time to celebrate Ayanami Rei's birthday! This year also marks the year of the Second Impact! Thankfully it's not really happening or otherwise I wouldn't be alive to type this and 14 year old boys and girls will be forced to pilot giant robots...

So in lieu of piloting Eva Unit 00,  Rei gets to sleep in... On top of a dakimakura of herself.

MEIKO's 10th Birthday!

Remember, remember the fifth of November... Especially if it's the 10th anniversary of MEIKO! As usual I am posting my first and favourite Dollfie Dream of MEIKO. While MEIKO is 10 years old, this Dollfie Dream version is turning 3 years old. She's gone through many changes and many clothes!

Anime Revolution 2014 Loot

So a month after Anime Revolution, I finally post the stuff I bought from there X3 Yes, I made the same face as the tako on the left! These octopi/takos were the first thing I bought at the convention. My quest was trying to help a friend get $10 bills for change in her artist alley booth XD So I found a few random things where I can get small change!

Anime Revolution 2014

Another Revolution ends and time for a post-convention blog post! Last week, on August 22nd to 24th, was Vancouver's Anime Revolution at Canada Place Convention Centre. I went on revolutionary one cosplay per day con! One was a failure, one was pretty fun, and one was secret. But it was a mostly fun convention, cosplay or not, especially going around with friends.

Mirai and Pet, and June Update

On the last Friday of June, I was able to visit Chun, the local owner of a brand spanking new Smart Doll Mirai ^_^ These days I have a bad habit of going somewhere not empty handed. If I do, I feel so empty and naked, lol. I looked around the house to see what I can bring... So for this visit, I brought my latest Nendoroid as well! Asuna as Titania with the bird cage included! I have to thank Sayoko, who went to Sakura-Con when I couldn't, for buying this Nendoroid for me.

Happy Biri Biri Birthday Mikoto!

May 2nd is Misaka Mikoto's birthday! Happy biri biri birthday! Since my schedule has been very busy I can only include a few figures in my collection for this gathering ^^;

A New Car!!

Yes! It's April Fool's Day again! It's like how they yell it out loud in Price is Right! A new car! Just got this new baby and I couldn't wait to take photos of it! ^o^

Birthday of Ayanami 2014(ish)

It's time for Ayanami Rei's birthday again! March 30th is not only Ayanami Rei's birthday, but also her seiyuu's, Hayashibara Megumi! AND on top of that, it's also Kawasumi Ayako's birthday! Such a special day! :D Two of my favourite seiyuus' birthdays in one day.

Sadly, it's been a very depressing and hectic week for me, so I didn't have time to take any new photos of Rei. Good thing is I finally posted my photos from last year's Pacific Northwest Ball-Jointed Doll Expo (or PNWBJD Expo for short, which is still not that short).

MEIKO's Birthday 2013

Remember remember the fifth of November... The birthday of MEIKO, of course! It's that time of the year again where I celebrate my favourite Vocaloid's birthday ^o^ This year I focus on Dollfie Dream MEIKO again who's had a facelift. Literally! This new head I procured over the summer at Volks Store in SoCal after Anime Expo becomes MEIKO's new head!

Obligatory Once-in-a-Month-Update Post

The end of August marked the release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. And it was also the end of my social life for a few weeks. Rarely have I been caught up in an MMORPG since World of Warcraft that took me away for so long. I could not catch up to the anime summer season...

Anime Revolution 2013

On August 16th to 18th, I attended one of the anime conventions in Vancouver. This one took place at Canada Place Convention Centre. I was looking forward to this convention and was not disappointed! I am blogging about it way too late though ^^; It has been over a month since it happened. Regardless! It was a draft with the photos posted in my blog and I intend to finish it!

The Queen's Army

WEEELLLLL.... Not really the queen's army, but I thought I'd give it a post title where both subjects are covered. So apparently it's the fifth anniversary of my blogging on Blogspot (three days late). That is to say, it's my fifth blogday! Five years already and I'm starting to slow down here, sadly. There are so many subjects I've yet to cover but many things have been preventing me from blogging here. So... I blame Tumblr, Final Fantasy XIV, Project X Zone, life in general and work!

Anyway, enough excuses! Let's begin this 5 year extravaganza!
