Before the year is over, and going by my minimum of one post per month, I present to you my 300th post project!

The Queen's Army

WEEELLLLL.... Not really the queen's army, but I thought I'd give it a post title where both subjects are covered. So apparently it's the fifth anniversary of my blogging on Blogspot (three days late). That is to say, it's my fifth blogday! Five years already and I'm starting to slow down here, sadly. There are so many subjects I've yet to cover but many things have been preventing me from blogging here. So... I blame Tumblr, Final Fantasy XIV, Project X Zone, life in general and work!

Anyway, enough excuses! Let's begin this 5 year extravaganza!

Christmas Doll Meet 2012

Better late than never... Here is the Christmas Doll Meet from December 15, 2012. I was under a lot of anxiety before and a little after this meet, so I didn't post this until now. I'm much better now, so I thought I should post before the year ends and the New Year's begin ^^;

I won't be writing much between photos and let you just enjoy them. I also posted these photos and more on my flickr.

Halloween Doll Meet 2012

Halloween is upon us! At least the doll meet was XD It's becoming an annual Halloween meet now where a lot of Vancouverites gather and get our dolls to dress up! There are over 50 photos, so I'm going to stay mostly quiet and just post them ^^;

Saber the AmAzone 50

The return of the AmAzone Saber! This time she's multiplied her scale and became a 50 cm! Before I only had the original Saber in Azone 1/6 form and then a Saber Nero in DD form...

Dolls and Beaches

It suddenly became very sunny in Vancouver in the beginning of May, so the group decided to have a meet on the beach on May 12th. Thankfully Flamebyrd brought an umbrella because dolls don't like the sun much ^^;

Spring Doll Meet 2012

Right after the second day of Fan Expo I made my way to the spring doll meet that already started, though there were still a few people that arrived later than me ^^; I brought along MEIKO, Helen and my newly purchased alpaca plush from Fan Expo. Quite a popular animal during the meet XD

Obitsu at Sakura Con 2012

When the president of your favourite doll company is invited to Sakura Con as a special guest, you tend to want to go... So I did. He is Obitsu Saburo, the President of Obitsu Company, a company that is 100% made in Japan! All the design and manufacturing are made in eastern Tokyo in Japan.

New Camera and Sakura Con Trip

I've been meaning to get a new camera for a while. I wasn't really looking for a DSLR, but the opportunity came up to get one. Of course, the reason I'm getting one is because I am going to Sakura-Con 2012 in Seattle in a week's time (April 6-8, 2012).

St. Patty's and Patty's Meet

It's two. Two. TWO MEETS IN ONE! Yes, we had two doll meets within days of each other. Well to be fair they were two small meets so they were much more manageable :) The first one occurred on St. Patrick's Day on Saturday. We expected almost 20 people... Then realized that most of the attendees on the Facebook page were dolls ^^;;; Anyhoo! We still had lots of fun!

Early March Doll Meet

Okay, so one more doll meet photos I'll post before I get around to my figma comic! This one happened just a few hours ago before I posted it! Which is a rare occasion, since I usually wait til weeks before I post them recently XD

Bird Watching

On a rare sunny day in Vancouver in February, a few of us decided to take a nice walk in Tsawwassen. Yes, that's an actual name of a city south of Vancouver. Very close to the US border. It was intended to be owl-watching walk, but we didn't find any. We saw many other birds though. Also, it didn't stay sunny for long because fog descended very low in the area.

2012 Backlog: January Doll Meet

Not even the end of the year and I'm already backlogged... Laziness and sickness got the best of me... Anyway, there were 2 meets in January. The first one took place on January 14th in Richmond.

Kotatsu 2012

Kotatsu is a mini convention that started by the same group that made the Cos & Effect event last year at UBC. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling very well, so I barely took any photos. Fortunately, however, I met with a couple of new anibloggers in Vancouver and older ones as well. I was finally able to meet with the head of SUTORAIKUanime, Akinari-kun and staff writer SabishiiMiruku. Along with them I also met with RadiantDreamer and Kaionlriu.

The "fortunately" part is at that they took some photos, so head on over to see the Kotatsu post over there at Sutoraiku ;)

Helen White's Snow Leap Day

Yes, this day only comes every four years, the snow leap day... Ok, maybe just the leap day... I was surprised this morning to see snow on the ground when I woke up. It's three weeks away from the first day of spring already... It's not thick snow and very wet and slushy, so it wasn't that bad to drive in. But at least I got to have my snow photos with Helen :D

Cecily: Fear of Darkness

Suddenly, Cecily appears. This is Azone's Black Raven series' Cecily with a "Fear of Darkness" subtitle. Somehow she caught my eye when she was available for preorder. I'm also thinking that the 50cm line has been a good seller lately, so I acted rather quickly to get her. So, I guess this would be my "box opening" post... Includes some nude doll photos, so might be NSFW? Especially since it's me posting, after all ^^;

2011 Backlog Part 3: Mostly Dolls

And finally... The last part of my backlog. It ranged from mid-September to early December. Many events that I failed to post right after they happened, but usually it's because I go home late, tired and then the next day my work week starts again... ANYHOO... Now that I have a bit of time, here are the last of my 2011 backlog!

2011 Backlog Part 2: Point Roberts

I quite a bit of photos from Point Roberts that it warranted to have its own post, though backlogged that it is... So I bought these new shoes from eBay and to save some shipping, I sent it to a package receiving service in Point Roberts. It's the first time I'm using this service. It's also the first time I went without my family, though I wasn't by myself for this short trip. There are four points of interest in Point Roberts that had some views and good photo opportunities. So we took'em! Even though I only brought two Pureneemos, I sure took a lot of shots with them, lol. This trip took place on November 10th... The day before Skyrim came out ^^;;;

2011 Backlog Part 1: Dolls and Food

Happy New Year! ...Oh, it's way past that... Err... Happy Lunar New Year? Also a week late... Sigh... It's been so long since I posted anything here. I blame Star Wars: The Old Republic. So my first post of the year is backlog from last year, lol. I've been meaning to post these for a long time, but when you work night shift, you tend to get lazy on some days. I'll try to post as much as possible in between playing SWTOR and other social things ^^; Funny enough when I quit WoW I started blogging... So I sense a trend here XD

Anyway... These photos went all the way back to mid-September until mid-October 2011... Yes, that means I have a lot more after this ^^;;;;; Oh and also a lot of food pictures too for some reason XD

Christmas Doll Meet 2011

Merry Christmas everyone! I thought it would be perfect day for me to post the photos from the Christmas doll meet for this day... Plus I've been lazy and busy playing SW:TOR >.> Compared to last year's Christmas meet, there were a lot more people this year! So we had a much bigger room and a lot more dolls too! I wasn't going to post all the photos here this time to save some time, but I ended up with a lot anyway ^^;;
